Covid-19 Update
Please keep your child at home if they are sick. The major Covid-19 symptoms to watch for are new loss of taste of smell, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing & new cough.
Students are expected to wear face covering, social distance, & practice frequent hand washing. If a child is determined to be a
close contact
of someone that is Covid-19 positive or has the major symptom of loss of taste or smell they must quarantine for 10 days. This is a reduction from the previously required 14 day quarantine for
close contacts
. These are new CDC/ ADPH guidelines, effective December 11th. The quarantine for COVID-19 positive persons is still 10 days from the onset of symptoms.
Please contact Penne Mott, Lead Nurse, at 205-221-9277 ext. 64038, for additional questions.
